… and what is it about “Lahnsteiner”?
Simple as that: I run into the accountants office at my first day at Roadrunner Records in Cologne to get some paperwork done and I hand over my passport that quotes: born ’84 in Lahnstein. “What’s that? Were you born in a shed between farm animals or what?” There you go. From that day on I was henceforth known as Lahnsteiner.
Apart from the name the mentioned internship at Roadrunner was pretty much groundbreaking. It changed everything and finally gave me a perspective on what I really want to do. I decided to dedicate my energy to getting into the music business and was looking forward to work in an environment that makes me go to work happy on a monday morning. In the end I was lucky to spend around 6 years in the amazing german Roadrunner Records Offices in Cologne as a Club Promoter and Street Team Leader.
After the company was bought by Warner and the Office in Cologne got closed, former MD Henk Hakker formed a new company featuring some of the old RR staff. Until today I am also part of Black Mob Management and Marketing Agency, based in Cologne. In case you need a profound setup with a big team – we can help you there!
Until today the list of customers and partners is growing with Major and Indie Labels, bands and managements as partners, which creates a diversity of acts that I enjoy very much. I’m especially happy to still be able to work and take care of Roadrunner Records acts thanks to close contact with the collegues in Hamburg.
